FR001 How Do I Know What I Don’t Know – Fast Tracking Your Genealogy Education
What do you do when you need to “immerse” yourself in the details of new record set? Where do you go for the best information? What about tips and tricks and that info only “experts” seem to have access to? Your genealogy research can improve immensely if you know how to “fast track” your knowledge on a new record set or resource.
  • Saturday, June 2nd, 8:30 am
SA008 Did I Get Everything? – Creating a Checklist for Genealogy Research
Are you really done with researching that ancestor? Many genealogists think they have a brick wall when, in fact, they just haven’t done a “reasonably exhaustive search.” Learn how to assemble a genealogy research checklist to take your genealogy to the next level.
  • Saturday, June 2nd, 3:30 pm
SA042 Secrets of the US Federal Census – How Did Enumeration Really Work?
Participants will gain a better understanding from the perspective of both the enumerator AND the enumerated how the US Federal Census worked for particular years. With this knowledge, as a genealogist you can better evaluate the census data for your ancestors.
