Upcoming Appearance – APG PMC in Knoxville, TN

Association of Professional Genealogists

Just before the start of the Federation of Genealogical Societies’ Annual Conference, I will be one of the panelists of the Association of Professional Genealogists‘ Annual Meeting and Roundtable on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in Salon AB of the Hilton Hotel in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The topic of the roundtable is “Your Internet Presence- How to get IT and what to do with IT: A discussion of what IT is.”  I am honored to share the table with these  APG members and leaders in the genealogy field: Drew Smith, Josh Taylor, Kathy Hinckley, Katherine Flynn and Laura Prescott, moderator.

As stated in a recent blog posting:

The panel members will each discuss a particular option or area that can enhance a professional’s web presence then the discussion will be open to the audience for questions and a sharing of ideas. This is a subject that can have some of us quaking in our boots while others are smiling with the opportunity to expand their horizons. Which are you?

The APG Roundtable is open to all APG members and their guests.  If you are interested in becoming an APG member you are welcome to participate in learning and sharing from other professionals.

I am looking forward to a great discussion and the chance to interact with my colleagues in the field of professional genealogy.
