I’m pleased to announce that I will be one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Florida State Genealogical Society 2012 Conference in Deerfield Beach, November 8-10, 2012! I’ll be joining Curt Witcher of the Allen County Public Library who is also a keynote speaker and I can’t wait to meet all the attendees at this year’s event.

I will be presenting the following topics during the conference:

Google for Genealogists presentation – August 25, 2012 – Swedish American Museum, Chicago

Nordic Family Genealogy Center

On Saturday, Aug. 25, the Nordic Family Genealogy Center will host a special lecture with Thomas MacEntee, nationally-known genealogy author, educator, and speaker. He will present on using Google search engine when conducting genealogy research. Most genealogists only use 10% or less of the resources behind Google when it comes to research. Learn how to use the other 90%!

Registration for this event takes place at 10:15 am, and the program will start at 10:30 a.m. Free to Museum and Nordic Family Genealogy members, $10 for non-members.

I’m pleased to announce that I will be one of several speakers on the upcoming 8th Annual Genealogy Conference and Cruise sponsored by Wholly Genes, Inc.  The cruise, which leaves out of Seattle and travels to Alaska and along the Inside Passage, departs Sunday, September 16, 2012 and returns the following Sunday, September 23, 2012.
